- Preparing and filing the Articles of Organization with Maryland
- Paying the state filing fee of $150 (add $275 if you need same day filing)
- Applying for an Employer Identification Number (EIN) with the IRS
- Preparing a completed W-9 Form
- Acting as your Resident Agent, if you choose that option

Our S Corp Creation/Election Package is a one-time fee of $1,750 and includes:
- a 30 minute phone consultation to discuss the S Corp process and determine if it’s the best fit for your business
- S Corp Reasonable Compensation Report to determine what to pay yourself
- S Corp Accountable Plan template and instructions in order to properly set up a reimbursement plan for certain expenses (home office, mileage, business use of cell phone, etc.)
- Payroll setup for yourself
- Tax projection for you and your business to determine catchup payroll withholdings
- EIN (if you don’t already have one)
- Articles of Incorporation (if you’re setting up a new S Corp)
- S Corp Election form filed with the IRS. Late elections (filed after March 15 are an additional $150)
